Claude Smadja - President

Claude Smadja is the Founder and President of Smadja & Associates Strategic Advisory.

Prior to creating Smadja & Associate a Strategic Advisory, Claude Smadja was the Managing Director of the World Economic Forum, with the overall responsibility on the Annual Meeting in Davos, the Forum's activities in Asia, and the yearly financial services Governor's Meeting.

Claude Smadja has also been the Director for the News and Current Affairs Department of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation. He is the author of numerous articles on globalization, the rise of Asia, the trends shaping the macroeconomic and political environment.

Yaël Smadja - President, Smadja & Associates USA Inc.

In July 2003, Yaël Smadja opened Smadja & Associates USA Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Smadja & Associates Strategic Advisory Inc. in Switzerland.

From 1999-2003, Yael was a Principal at the Dilenschneider Group in New York, a public relations consulting firm specialized in communications strategy and crisis management, with clients among the Fortune 500 companies and high-profile individuals. Yael had responsibility for a number of accounts, development of strategic briefs, new business development, as well as representation of the firm in various international events.

Prior to this, Yael was Business Development Manager for Global Event Management (now Publicis Events) in Switzerland, a company specialized in international events creation and organization of corporate and international conferences worldwide.

Yael Smadja has a BA in Political Science from the University of Lausanne, and a Masters of International Law from the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva, Switzerland. Prior to the start of her professional career, she participated in the organization of more than 20 international events. Yaël's areas of expertise include trend analysis, program development, positioning consultancy, media relations and event creation and management, as well as new business responsibilities.
